Tia Greyhound und Lurcher Rescue möchte Sie um Ihre Unterstützung bitten, indem Sie Informationen über streunende Windhunde weitergeben, um so das Ausmaß des Problems über die „Wall of Shame“ zu verdeutlichen. Sollte Ihnen ein Windhund über den Weg laufen, kontaktieren Sie sie bitte und geben Sie möglichst viele Daten weiter: Ohrmarke, Farbe, Geschlecht, Zustand des Hundes und alles andere, was Ihnen auffällt. Den Rest erledigen Tia Greyhound und Lurcher Rescue.

Es wäre von unschätzbarem Wert, wenn alle Institutionen, die mit Windhunden zu tun haben, die Ohrmarken der Hunde aufzeichnen würden. Eine solche Ansammlung von Daten wurde bisher nie zur Verfügung gestellt und ist weitgehend unbekannt. Das Ausmaß des Problems und das Leid der Tiere würde damit drastisch dokumentiert.

SECRECY LIFTS!!!

Please send Tia greyhound rescue details of any stray and abandoned

greyhounds brought in to your rescue centre. Please read the email below for

full details. The truth will prevail. This will be another nail in the

coffin for the racing industry.

Tia Greyhound & Lurcher Rescue are currently in the process of compiling a

list of all stray dogs that pass through rescue centres like Tia Greyhound

and Lurcher Rescue. The aim is to include all strays identified by other

independent charities, local council pounds and vets. The "Wall of Shame" is

to be used for recording specific details on greyhounds found stray. The

Tia Greyhound & Lurcher Rescue would like to enlist your support by asking

you to add to the information on the "Wall of Shame" so emphasising the

scale of the problem. Should a greyhound pass through your doors, simply

contact them with primarily the earmarks, colour and sex plus any further

information you may have. They will do the rest.

It would be invaluable if all pounds would keep a record of the earmarks of

the greyhounds they deal with. The aim is to illustrate the size of the

problem nationwide, as such information has never been made available and

figures are largely unknown, and it will provide weight to reflect the scale

of the problem.
